🃏 Jokic Comes Up Clutch as Nuggets Outlast Thunder in OT to Take Game 3

Nikola Jokic had a terrible shooting night - just 8-for-25 from the field and 0-for-10 from deep - but when it mattered most, the Joker delivered.

He opened overtime with a smooth finger-roll layup and finished with 20 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks, and 2 steals, leading the Nuggets to a gritty 113-104 win and a 2-1 series lead over the top-seeded Thunder.

The win was a statement response after getting blown out by 43 points in Game 2. Jokic was backed by big performances across the roster: Jamal Murray poured in 27 points, Aaron Gordon added 22, and Michael Porter Jr. - clearly shouldering an injury - bounced back with 21 - after shooting just 3-of-18 in the first two games combined. Porter hit his first five shots and nailed three triples to keep Denver in striking distance early.

It was a complete reversal from Wednesday’s disaster. After trailing most of regulation and entering the fourth quarter down three, Denver locked in, slowed the Thunder, and leaned on their championship poise to grind their way back.

It was tied at 102 heading into OT after both Jokic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed potential game-winners in the final seconds. But in the extra period, it was all Nuggets - they opened with an 11-2 run and never looked back.

OKC’s MVP candidate SGA struggled, scoring 18 points on just 7-of-22 shooting, while Jalen Williams stepped up with 32 points and Chet Holmgren chipped in 18 and 7 boards.

🎭 Fittingly, Jokic showed up to Ball Arena dressed as the Joker - yes, the DC villain version.
And like any true villain, he stole the show.

Throwback Corner 🏀 Toni Kukoc’s Game 3 Buzzer-Beater vs. the Knicks

With just 1.8 seconds on the clock in the 1994 Eastern Semis, Toni Kukoc etched his name into NBA history, burying a cold-blooded buzzer-beater to lift the Bulls over the Knicks in Game 3. The shot was iconic—but so was the context: Kukoc stepped up after Scottie Pippen infamously refused to check in for the final play.

🎯 One moment, one shot, eternal clutch. Kukoc delivered when it mattered most.
