In a playoff instant classic, Nikola Jokic put on a masterclass - and Aaron Gordon put the exclamation point on it. Battling back from a 20-point collapse, the Nuggets escaped LA with a heart-stopping 101-99 Game 4 win, thanks to a buzzer-beating slam dunk for the ages.

Nikola Jokic was everywhere in Game 4, posting a staggering 36 points, 21 rebounds, and 8 assists in 43 minutes of pure dominance.

Ivica Zubac fought him tooth and nail, racking up 19 points, 12 boards, and making Jokic work for every bucket. Their battle was physical, brilliant, and playoff basketball at its finest.

But the night belonged to Aaron Gordon.

Playing through a nagging calf injury, Gordon grabbed Jokic’s last-second airball - or was it a sneaky "pass"? - and slammed it home just a tenth of a second before the buzzer. It’s the first game-winning buzzer-beating dunk in NBA playoff history, and it couldn’t have come at a bigger moment.

Jokic knew it was ugly the moment it left his hand - "This is going to be bad," he deadpanned. But Aaron Gordon, no stranger to Jokic’s lobs, read it perfectly.
"It was a nice pass," Gordon joked.
"No, it wasn’t," Jokic shot back.

The wild finish almost never happened - Gordon and James Harden nearly got themselves tossed after a heated first-half scuffle. Cooler heads - and cooler refs - prevailed, with double techs instead of ejections. Lucky for Denver, because Gordon ended up saving the night.

Kawhi Leonard (24 points, 9 rebounds) and Norman Powell helped lead the Clippers' furious fourth-quarter comeback, briefly grabbing the lead late. But Jokic’s calm under pressure - despite missing a clutch free throw - and Gordon’s perfect timing snatched it right back.

The series is now tied 2-2, heading back to Denver for a pivotal Game 5.
Jokic vs. Zubac. Gordon’s grit. Kawhi’s clutch gene.

Game 5 is going to be huge.

🤒 Luka Battles Illness, 🐺 Wolves Pounce to Take 2-1 Series Lead

Luka Dončić wasn’t himself on Friday night - and the Timberwolves made sure he paid for it.
Behind a career playoff-high 30 points from Jaden McDaniels and a monster two-way performance by Anthony Edwards (29 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists), Minnesota pulled away late to beat the Lakers 116-104 and take a 2-1 series lead.

Julius Randle (22 points) attacked relentlessly inside, helping the Wolves dominate the paint 56-26.

LeBron James went nuclear to try to save LA, pouring in 38 points and hitting from way downtown - so far that Ant Edwards joked, "He was shooting it from Yucatán." Austin Reaves added 20 points and five triples, but LA’s 19 turnovers - and Luka’s struggles - sealed the deal.

Playing through a stomach illness, Luka finished Game 3 with 17 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists on just 37.5% shooting (25% from deep).

Through three games against Minnesota, Luka’s series averages: 19.7 points, 8.7 rebounds, 5.0 assists, 37.5% FG, 22.7% 3PT — a steep drop-off from his regular-season brilliance.

Jaden McDaniels smothered him from start to finish, and the Wolves' defense turned up the pressure when it mattered most.

Game 4 stays in Minneapolis. Wolves smell blood. 🐺🔥
